A veteran educator has been named the new Assistant Principal of the Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical Education Center – Albany Campus.
Alexandrea Campbell started work the week of Nov. 2 on the campus, which is located at 925B Watervliet-Shaker Road in Albany.
She has nearly two decades of experience in education, most recently serving as an Assistant Principal in the Albany City School District. She previously taught math and served as a math coach in the district. Prior to joining Albany, she was a teacher at Catholic Central High School.
“In the last couple of years, I have gotten more involved in career and technical education in Albany. I truly believe college is not a pathway for everybody, and I look forward to working with Capital Region BOCES students and helping them find their own path to success,” she said.
Campbell is an East Greenbush resident where she resides with her husband, Jonathan, and canine, Riley.
