Section 211 Waiver Notification

Effective November 21, 2019, Mr. Jeffery Ziegler received approval for temporary employment as a retiree under Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law.  This temporary employment as the Interim Superintendent for the Duanesburg Central School District will run from November 12, 2019 through June 30, 2020.  The compensation package for this employment is authorized at a daily rate of $700.00.  There is no other compensation associated with this appointment.  As a retiree, Mr. Ziegler reserves the right to receive his pension while employed with the Duanesburg Central School District.

Effective October 24, 2019, Ms. Helen Thompson received approval for temporary employment as a retiree under Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law.  This temporary employment as a Teacher-Career Education for the Capital Region BOCES will run from September 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.  The compensation package for this employment is authorized at a salary rate of $49,774 as well as time accruals and dental insurance.  As a retiree, Ms. Thompson reserves that right to receive her pension while employed with the Capital Region BOCES.

Effective July 19, 2019, Mr. Mark Doody received approval for temporary employment as a retiree under Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law.  This temporary employment as the Interim Superintendent for the Voorheesville Central School District will run from July 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019.  The compensation package for this employment is authorized at a daily rate of $700.00.  There is no other compensation associated with this appointment.  As a retiree, Mr. Doody reserves the right to receive his pension while employed with the Voorheesville Central School District.

Effective July 15, 2019, Ms. Flora Fasoldt received approval for temporary employment as a retiree under Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law.  This temporary employment as a Special Education Professional Learning Community & Intake Team Facilitator for the Capital Region BOCES will run from July 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019.  The compensation package for this employment is authorized at a daily rate of $425.00 as well as reimbursement for travel expenses as set forth by school board policy.  There is no other compensation associated with this appointment.  As a retiree, Ms. Fasoldt reserves that right to receive her pension while employed with the Capital Region BOCES.
