The Elementary School operates on a trimester schedule and follows the Capital Region BOCES calendar..
- Daily instruction will occur in a high-quality combination of synchronous and asynchronous modalities throughout the school day.
- Teachers will make personal connections with all students during scheduled class times via Google Meet. During these connections, teachers will take attendance, introduce new content or skills. Students will connect with their teachers and peers, ask questions, and maintain personal relationships.
- Teachers may use non-instructional time to provide additional assistance to students during the school day at their discretion.
Kindergarten Sample Daily Schedule
All times listed below are approximate and include live Google meets and independent work time.
- Instruction: 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Lunch: 11 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.
- Specials: 11:35 a.m. to noon
- Office Hours: 2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
