The Capital Region BOCES Board of Education is accepting public comments on the BOCES-Wide Safety Plan. Updates to the safety plan include New York’s Desha’s Law to incorporate a cardiac emergency response plan. The comment period is December 15, 2025, through January 15, 2026. Please submit comments to the Board Clerk no later than January 15 at boe@neric.org.
A public hearing will be held on January 15, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at 900 Watervliet-Shaker Road in Albany. The draft amendment to the Safety Plan can be viewed here.
