Summary/Objective
The Material Handler is certified on a forklift through Cascades and must operate a T-Cart to move product through the facility. Look at and interpret information about orders through a computer and learn what machine each order must go to in the facility for the box to be made properly.

Essential Functions

1. Move Corrugated sheets and finished units throughout the plant.
2. Operate moving conveyor line to move product.
3. Maintain all safety operations and inspections.
4. Successful in maintaining all equipment, procedures, and paperwork in compliance with ISO procedure.
5. Maintain housekeeping including keeping work area clean and 5S all tools and equipment.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to machine noises and airborne particles, which require employee to wear personal protective equipment, including a company provided mask, eyewear, and ear plugs. Employee must have their own steel-toe boots.

The employee must be able to stand for 12-hour shifts. They must be able to perform repetitive tasks which may also occasionally require the employee to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch, and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or GED is preferred.
2. Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing-related experience preferred.

Preferred Education and Experience
• Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness and quality system awareness.
• OSHA training.

Hourly Wage:

$21.50

Full-time or Part-time:
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. Mandatory overtime of either 10- or 12-hour shift when needed, including Saturdays and Sundays.
