Job Description:
Responsible for general Maintenance and repair duties, which include general cleaning, trash removal, maintaining of building systems, repairs to the building, oversight of the grounds maintenance, including snow removal. • Maintain the cleanliness of the property under the supervision of Facilities Manager by following routine cleaning schedules. The schedules will include, but are not limited to, floor care, general cleaning, trash removal, dusting, heavy cleaning, policing the grounds for debris, and apartment turnovers. • Protect and oversee the physical safety of the building and all persons associated with it by keeping all storage and work areas neat and organized. Understand and implement emergency procedures for all aspects of plumbing, electrical, physical, and person safety on the property. It is necessary to implement appropriate safety procedures at all times, and to wear/use appropriate protective gear and equipment, adhering to OSHA standards as applicable. • Respond to emergency situations immediately and appropriately, including personal (medical) emergencies and maintenance emergencies, carrying a cell phone as scheduled to provide on-call coverage. • Walk throughout the building and do resident door checks as required. • Establish and maintain cordial, professional relationships with residents, families, vendors, community groups, staff, applicants, and visitors. • Control expenses by avoiding waste, developing new skills, and properly using and maintaining company equipment. • Manage paperwork, such as work orders. • Assist the Facilities Manager as required, which may include (but is not limited to) painting, assisting with apartment preparation, lawn care, snow removal, minor repairs and service requests, assisting residents as directed, cooperating with other Property Maintenance Site staff, and assisting with other duties as required. • Demonstrate leadership behavior in communication skills, and reporting all incidents/accidents to Director, no matter the severity. • Maintain confidentiality of personal resident information. • May be required to obtain basic CPR and First Aid Certification • Represent the community with pride and knowledge and support the following organizational goals: 1. Skills Needed:

$17-$20
