Albany Campus

The Capital Region Career & Technical School (CTE), Albany campus, is a career and technical school operated by the Capital Region BOCES.

Variety of programming for high school students and adults

The Albany campus offers high school and adult students more than 40 educational programs, including courses for honor students, college-credit bearing courses, and programs for students of all abilities. The campus also offers Adult Education programs ranging from nurse assistant to welding and electrical.

About Our Facilities

The campus is comprised of six buildings, linked by covered walkways and surrounded by trees and greenery. Inside, students will find classrooms featuring the latest technology and equipment for each career and technical program, and faculty and staff who are experts in their fields, creating an excellent learning environment. Many classrooms are set up like actual businesses, where students work with real customers and gain experience in their trade or profession.

Learning Extends Beyond the Campus

Field trips and visits, job shadowing, internships and paid employment experiences give our students an edge in careers and college. The Capital Region Career & Technical School partners with local business and industry to offer such opportunities, and employers from our region help us design programs to meet the changing demands of today’s workplace.
