Assistant Principal Mary Jo Bradley

Mary Jo Bradley joined CVLA in November 2024, bringing more than two decades of distinguished experience in education, leadership, and the arts. A visionary and strategic leader, she has a proven record of designing and scaling innovative programs that enhance student engagement, strengthen teacher development, and build sustainable partnerships across communities and organizations.
Prior to joining CVLA, she led arts and academic programs in both traditional and therapeutic settings, including developing a regional juried art show centered on mental health and wellness, and founding Advanced Placement Studio Art programs that earned national recognition and expanded college access for students.
With expertise in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), Mary Jo is dedicated to supporting the whole child—fostering intellectual, creative, and emotional growth. She holds a master’s degree in education from Columbia University, is a National Board Certified Teacher, and has mentored educators nationwide through Stanford University’s teacher preparation program. Mary Jo is CVLA DASA coordinator.
