Job Description:
Low Voltage Technician / Alarm Installer We are seeking a motivated and dependable technician to join our growing low voltage and alarm installation team. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and cabling of commercial and residential low voltage systems including burglar alarms, fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV/video surveillance, and networking equipment. Job Responsibilities Installation and service of burglar alarm and fire alarm systems Troubleshooting low voltage systems and devices Installation of access control systems and door hardware CCTV camera installation, setup, and programming Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, terminations, and testing Network equipment installation and basic networking setup Reading blueprints and system layouts Testing systems and providing customer training Maintaining accurate service and installation documentation

Skills Needed:
| Preferred skills but willing to train. Experience in low voltage, alarm, electrical, or construction fields preferred Knowledge of burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and networking Ability to use hand tools, ladders, and power tools safely Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Valid driver’s license required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to pass NYS background check |
