Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are currently seeking dependable and skilled Shop Hydraulic Technicians to join our team. Job Overview: The Shop Hydraulic Technician will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and assembling hydraulic components such as cylinders, pumps, motors, hoses, and valves. The role involves troubleshooting, testing, and supporting onsite and in-house hydraulic repairs, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities in Detail: Disassemble and inspect hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, hoses, and valves. Clean components and apply lubricants as needed. Replenish fluids and replace parts of engines and machinery. Repair hydraulic pumps, valves, motors, hoses, and cylinders per customer requests. Test and inspect hydraulic components for proper operation. Troubleshoot mobile and industrial equipment and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot basic electrical circuits related to hydraulic controls. Read and interpret hydraulic schematics. Specify and assemble hose and tube assemblies in the field. Install hydraulic components onto in-house or customer equipment. Use measuring devices, calculators, hand tools, torque tools, and other equipment to service hydraulic systems. Perform onsite maintenance and repairs at customer locations. Repair and replace hydraulic hoses. Interact professionally with customers to identify service issues. Provide technical support to departments and customers as needed. Support accurate quoting and billing of repair and service work. Complete safety certification classes as required.

Requirements: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly. Ability to work closely with management and team members. Team player with good communication skills. Physical stamina and strength to lift up to 50 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Hydraulic repair experience is a plus but not required; training provided. Capable of following written instructions and procedures. Valid driver’s license is required.

Ideal Candidate Profile: A dependable individual who can follow instructions closely, perform some heavy lifting, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Hand tool experience is a plus, and prior experience is not necessary but advantageous. Hard work, focus, and a willingness to learn are key.
