Description:
POSITION TITLE: Special Education Summer School Teachers (positions filled contingent on enrollment)
BASIC FUNCTION: To implement IEP goals and objectives for each student.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. NYS certification in Special Education or Students w/ Disabilities 9-12.
B. Experience preferred.
The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assessment, curriculum development, instruction and evaluation of students with handicapping conditions.
SALARY: $48.81 per hour (paid on an hourly basis)
START DATE: July 7, 2025 – Aug 20, 2025 – M thru TH @ 2-4 hours each day.
There will be a mandatory training on Monday, July 7th from 8AM to 1PM at the summer school location you will be assigned to teach.
