Description:
POSITION: Special Education Summer School Teachers (positions filled contingent on enrollment)
LOCATION: Educational Support Services – Regional Summer School
(summer school will be held at Niskayuna CSD & Berne-Knox-Westerlo CSD)
DATE: July 8, 2024 thru August 16, 2024 – Monday thru Thursday @ 2-4 hours each day
There will be a mandatory training on Mon. 7/8/24 and Tues. 7/9/24 from 8AM to 12PM at the summer school location you will be assigned to teach.
BASIC FUNCTION:
To implement IEP goals and objectives for each student.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. New York State certification in Special Education or Students w/ Disabilities 7-12
B. Experience working within a team atmosphere preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assessment, curriculum development, instruction and evaluation of students with handicapping conditions.
