2022-2023 Free Meal Program
We are pleased to inform you that Airline Drive Academy and Maywood School will be implementing a meal certification option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the 2022-2023 school year.
All students enrolled at Airline Drive Academy and Maywood School are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2022-2023 school year. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee. By completing the Household Income Eligibility form, your family could be helping the school receive additional state and federal funding.
Airline Drive and Maywood School both provide a “Breakfast After the Bell” program. It enables students to eat breakfast when and where it is most convenient for them.
Breakfast is available for all students after instruction begins.
The district’s goals are to improve students’ access to a healthy breakfast every day, and to give them more time to get their food and eat it. Airline Drive Academy and Maywood School would like its students to take advantage of this service. Studies show that children who eat breakfast have better memory recall, improved attentiveness and cognition, and perform better academically than their peers who don’t eat breakfast.
Remember, breakfast is free for all students.
