Skills Needed:

MAINTENANCE • Perform outside building and grounds maintenance including but not limited to mowing lawns and weeding, trimming bushes and trees, parking lot/sidewalk upkeep including snow removal, painting, cleaning (eg, sweep, power wash). • Perform inside building and grounds maintenance including but not limited to minor carpentry/plumbing/electrical/HVAC on new projects or repairs, painting, floor maintenance. • Operate various WYH vehicles in a safe and legal manner which includes pre and post safety checks, maintaining trip documentation, provide routine vehicle maintenance, recognize and report vehicle malfunctions and recommend servicing when indicated. • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility when handling cash or credit cards such as bank deposits, gas cards, vendor purchases, etc. • Demonstrate professionalism when handling mail, deliveries, transporting goods, or transporting individuals at EOC Supervisor direction. • Small engine maintenance and repair on equipment including but not limited to lawn mower, weed whacker, floor buffer, power sprayer, power tools. • Minor vehicle (such as RV cleanout) and large engine maintenance and repair on WYH vehicles as directed by EOC Supervisor. • Perform office or equipment moves and setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or for other functions. • Assist during contracted construction projects as directed by EOC Supervisor. ENVIRONMENT OF CARE(EOC) • Proactive in monitoring the facilities for safety and security and report areas of concern in a timely manner. • Provide backup and assistance to other EOC departmental services, such as housekeeping or floor care, as directed by EOC Supervisor. • Regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body • Be able to reach overhead; be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time • Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks GENERAL • Demonstrates excellence in both internal and external customer service. • Understands and is able to effectively communicate HIPAA compliance, corporate compliance and client confidentiality. • Ensures and/or remains in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Completes other duties as assigned

Age Requirement:

18 with current NYS driver’s license

Certification Or Education Required:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Three years related maintenance work experience and basic knowledge of maintenance responsibilities including maintenance equipment operation. One-year related housekeeping work experience and basic knowledge of housekeeping responsibilities including housekeeping equipment operation. Good physical condition and able to lift or pull up to 75 pounds, Current NYS driver’s license without any violations. Flexible schedule and able to work overtime, including call-ins for snow removal. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Five years related work experience. Work experience in a medical facility. Two-year trade school certification.

Hourly Wage:

18.84/ hr.
