Job Description:

Abele Tractor & Equipment company seeks heavy equipment technicians to join our growing business. Technicians perform preventative maintenance, repair, and setup of rental, customer, and new equipment. Equipment includes but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, wheeled loaders, articulated haul trucks, telehandlers, rollers, compact machinery, tractors, and backhoes. Primary Responsibilities: – Service equipment to ensure proper working order – Diagnosis and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures on equipment – Test and confirm that proper repairs are made, and ensure that all safety features work properly – Communicate with customers and supervisors regarding service work – Complete all duties efficiently and in a timely matter – Document repairs for service reports

Skills Needed:

 Mechanically inclined individuals who are interested in on-the-job training with ability to advance – Individuals with heavy equipment, off road diesel engine experience a plus – Ability to read and comprehend electrical and hydraulic schematics – Must be able to multi-task in a faced paced environment – Must have own tools – Punctual and reliable attendance

Age Requirement:

18 or older

Certification Or Education Required:

– High school diploma or equivalent, Certifications a plus.

Hourly Wage:

Based on experience and certifications.
