What you will do:
As NERIC’s Senior Regional Testing and Data Reporting Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to these services which support over 250 educational institutions and state organizations. You will lead cross-functional teams, align services with statewide data initiatives, and maintain a strong focus on data integrity, security and educational impact to ensure compliance with NYSED requirements. You will provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders on these initiatives. In your role, you can expect the following
- Your day will be busy leading the vision, strategy and execution of all testing and data reporting services provided by NERIC through your direct supervision and support of the Testing and Data Reporting Services Team. Your effective management of these large-scale data projects will ensure stakeholder satisfaction through accurate and timely execution of timelines.
- You will ensure full alignment of services with NYSED policies and standards by serving as the primary liaison between NYSED and BOCES’ partners on matters regarding assessment administration and data reporting.
- You will oversee the facilitation and processing of various annual NYS assessments and coordinate with partners to maximize service delivery; ensuring clear communication with districts, accuracy in scoring and automation of results loaded the Data Warehouse.
- You will oversee and ensure the successful integration of data from multiple information systems into the eScholar-powered Data Warehouse.
- You will use your technical aptitude and vision to drive service innovation and quality improvement initiatives geared at enhancing efficiency and client satisfaction across testing and data services.
- School district leaders across NYS and regional education partners will appreciate your strong partnerships as they look to you as their subject matter expert, leading the teams responsible for training and supporting district personnel involved in test administration and data reporting.

What you bring to our team:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Education or closely related field with at least 9 years of experience using, supporting or providing training on custom software systems. Master’s degree candidates require 7 years of referenced experience. At least two years of qualifying experience involving the direct supervision of staff is required.
- Ability to effectively lead teams, manage multiple projects and supervise the schedules and work of others
- Enthusiasm for data and analysis driven projects
- Passion to help others, great leadership and communication skills and a personal drive for continuous learning and a desire to develop your skills and the skills of your team members.
- Any experience working in school district operations and/or NYS data reporting and testing protocols ideal but not required.
