Electrical Trades

Get hands-on experience learning to repair, install, maintain and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical wiring systems along with switches and controls.

The 150-hour Residential Electrical course is offered in the fall and 150-hour Commercial Electrical course is offered in the spring. These courses are taught by experienced electricians, and will provide adults with fundamental skills and training in:

  • residential electrical safety and theory
  • residential construction codes
  • low-voltage wiring
  • switches and controls
  • currents
  • commercial electrical safety and theory
  • commercial construction codes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will earn the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-hour Safety Course Certification.
