October 1-11, 2025 — Budget Calendar is reviewed with Administration and Program Managers
October 31, 2025 — Salary and benefit data activated in WinCap for 2026-27 budget
December 8-12, 2025 — Administration review tentative budgets with District Superintendent and DDS/COO
December 5, 2025 — Proposed 2026-27 Administrative and Capital Budgets completed
December 15, 2025 — Administrative and Capital Budgets presented to Board of Education
January 2, 2026 — Final submission of proposed 2026-27 budgets to Business Office
January 15, 2026* — BOCES Board reviews Divisional Budget (ESS, SPED, CTE)
February 9, 2026* — BOCES Board reviews Divisional Budgets (EDS, MS, NERIC)
February 27, 2026 — Commitment Form/Final Service Request (FSR) sent to districts
March 27, 2026 — Nominations of Candidates for election to the BOCES Board due to Clerk of BOCES Board (at least 30 days prior to vote by component boards)
March 30, 2026 — Budget communication/newsletter finalized and sent to districts
April 1, 2026 — Publication of first legal notice of Annual Meeting (14 days prior to Annual Meeting)
April 8, 2026 — Publication of second legal notice of Annual Meeting
April 8, 2025 — Board Election and Budget ballots sent to component districts (at least 14 days prior to vote by component boards)
April 15, 2026 — BOCES Annual Meeting and Budget Presentation
April 16, 2026* — Capital Region BOCES Board adopts 2026-27 Budgets
April 29, 2026 — Component Boards vote on 2026-27 Administrative Budget and BOCES BOE
April 30, 2026 — Election results delivered to BOCES Board Clerk from component districts
May 8, 2026 — Final service commitments returned to BOCES by component districts
June 15, 2026 — Adopted 2026-27 Budget filed with State Education Department
