Description:

The Certified Instructor Coordinator (CIC) work involves shared responsibility for the academic integrity of the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program offered through the Career & Technical Education division of Capital Region BOCES. The incumbent works directly with the classroom teacher to ensure that course objectives are met in compliance with NYS Emergency Medical Services (EMS) curriculum standards. Incumbent serves as the NYS mandated CIC when classroom teacher is not present. Incumbent works directly with the EMT teaching staff and administration of this division to ensure that students are taught practical skills according to NYS EMS curriculum and NYS EMS Protocol. Does related work as required.
