Job Description:
Shop Foreman: Opening available for a hardworking, dependable shop foreman to join our team. This hands-on role ensures materials, tools and crews are prepared for each job. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to: -Loading/unloading of crew trucks and delivery trucks -Welding -Equipment Maintenance -Assisting customers with orders -Preparing and staging crew orders -General yard work -Keeping yard/shop clean and organized STRONG attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Experience in the fence industry is beneficial, but not mandatory. Similar job background in carpentry, construction, warehouse setting, welding and forklift experience is helpful. Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8” increments. Heavy lifting involved; must be able to lift 75-100 lbs. Must be proficient with hand and power tools. A valid driver’s license is required with your own reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to communicate professionally with management, fellow employees and customers is essential. Be prepared for work every day in a productive manner. Hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. Occasional Saturdays may be required as workload dictates. Rate of pay based on experience.
