What you will do:
As a Distance Learning Services Coordinator, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on supporting video and collaboration technologies in schools. This team plays a key role in providing comprehensive, impactful and efficient solutions surrounding the use of E-Learning hardware, software and services within our partner school districts. In your role, you can expect the following
- You’ll be part of a dedicated team that supports NERIC’s Distance Learning Services; a regional program where districts can expand their academic offerings by enabling students to take classes from other school districts through a regional interactive video system and other complementary technologies.
- Your day will be busy troubleshooting issues and supporting end users with a variety of E-Learning technologies, including videoconferencing and other online conferencing platforms and solutions. This work involves both in-person and virtual support, and administrative assistance to procure, maintain, and track the hardware and software solutions for subscribing districts.
- You will train educators, administrators, support staff, and other district stakeholders to better ensure they maximize their use of distance learning, videoconferencing, and Webex systems.
- You will liaise with vendor partners, internal colleagues, and school staff to support the evolving E-Learning needs of districts, helping to adapt NERIC’s services as technology tools and instructional requirements evolve.
- You will receive initial and continuous ongoing training to grow your skills as a critical member of NERIC’s Distance Learning Team.

What you bring to our team:
- College Degree in Media, Television, Film Production or related field (equivalent combination of work experience related to the design and coordination of video technologies will also be considered).
- Your ability to effectively create and deliver training both in person and virtually.
- Your ability to communicate effectively with school personnel and administrators.
- Passion to have a positive impact on students accessing learning opportunities they would otherwise not have access to without E-Learning technologies.
- A valid driver license (as this position may require occasional local and regional travel)
