Our Adult Health Careers program is in search of a dynamic leader to oversee our Adult Nursing Education programs. This position is perfect for registered nurse professionals ready to lead and make a positive impact on the next generation of health care professionals.
What you will do:
As our Adult Nursing Education Supervisor, you will be part of a dedicated team that supports adult learners on their quest to becoming a licensed health care professional in New York State. In your role, you can expect the following:
- Your day will be busy coordinating and overseeing the daily student activities within the adult health careers & services program, including directly supervising the clinical and classroom instructors as well as the support staff.
- You will work in collaboration with our director to develop lesson plans, finalize syllabus material and coordinate SIMS lab schedules and clinical rotation schedules at area health care facilities; offering hands on practical experience to prepare our adult learners.
- You will work with teachers and administrators on all aspects of adult student management, including oversight of the student management systems, monitoring attendance data and leading student disciplinary practices, as required.
- You will thrive leading a busy, collaborative team whose primary goal is to prepare our students for success in their health career program of choice.

What you bring to our team:
- Master’s degree in nursing with 5 years of paid experience as a registered nurse, including at least one year of experience in nursing education or nursing staff development.
- Ability to lead and oversee the work of nursing educators in a fast paced environment.
- Strong organizational, scheduling and coordination skills with a solid understanding of the regulations applicable to a nursing education program.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students, with the objective of leading and delivering feedback in a constructive yet definitive manner.
- Desire to work as part of a cohesive team working towards a common goal of preparing students for a rewarding career in nursing.
- A passion for work that contributes to the success of our students and health careers programs.
