Description:
POSITION TITLE: Math Grades 9-12 Summer School Teachers
(positions filled contingent on enrollment)
BASIC FUNCTION: Duties include providing differentiated, direct instruction and remediation for high school Mathematics core courses that could possibly lead to a Regent’s program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. NYS certification in all areas of Mathematics 9-12
B. Experience preferred.
The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Curriculum instruction, supervision and evaluation of students in need of remediation.
2. Students will require content and skills that will assist them in being successful throughout their summer school experience.
SALARY: $48.81 per hour (paid on an hourly basis)
START DATE: July 7, 2025 – Aug 20, 2025 – M – TH @ 2-4 hours each day
There will be a mandatory training on Monday, July 7th from 8AM to 1PM at the summer school location you will be assigned to teach.
