Virtual College Fair Connects Adult Nursing Students With Higher Ed

“I have been a home health aide, certified nurse assistant, patient care assistant and now I am doing Adult Practical Nursing program and eventually I will get RN. It’s about improving yourself.” — current Adult Practical Nursing student Jessica Johnston.

During a recent college fair, current full- and part-time Adult Practical Nursing (APN) students had the chance to connect (virtually this year) with recruiters from several area colleges about their registered nursing programs. The annual event was hosted by our Adult Health Careers Center.

 “The continued support of our education partners makes our annual college fair one of the highlights for our students each year,” said Paula Negri, principal of the Adult Practical Nursing program. “While we weren’t able to physically gather for this year’s event, I am particularly grateful for the response from admissions reps from across the area who agreed, without hesitation, to meet with our students virtually.”
