Job Description:

Perform maintenance service and minor repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, minor machine repairs and vehicle servicing.

  • Monitor building UPS, switchgear, generators and related emergency backup systems
  • Complete work orders on a daily basis; noting status if not completed and description of resolution as completed
  • Repair, maintain, replace and test low voltage electrical circuits and components and equipment
  • Inspect equipment and diagnose trouble or malfunctions
  • Analyze equipment failures, determine cause and makes necessary adjustments
  • Operate electrical hand tools and voltage or ampere measuring devices
  • Monitor and maintain all essential mechanical and electrical related facility functions that pertain to consistent building operations
  • Perform facility maintenance and repairs that include but are not limited to building equipment, office furniture and other equipment as required
  • Monitor all systems, such as FM2OO, fire and security systems
  • Perform a variety of errands and odd jobs as needed such as snow removal, moving furniture, hanging pictures, etc.
  • Maintain proper stock levels for janitorial items including but not limited to cleaning products, paper products and soap
  • Perform new branch set up that includes, but no limited to equipment placement and installation
  • Coordinate with IT Network and Desktop departments for new branch set up, staff relocations and other department reorganizations as assigned
  • Maintain and clean the basement and other storage areas as needed
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Facility Operations Coordinator and Director, Facility Operations
  • Serve as a back up to the mail courier by assisting in sorting and distributing mail
  • Travel to all SEFCU locations using a SEFCU owned vehicle as required
  • Respond to emergency on-call requests as necessary
  • Participate in cross-training of all functional areas within the Facility Operations Department
  • Wear SEFCU provided uniform shirts unless instructed otherwise
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills Needed:
