Technology Services Manager (MANAGING PROGRAM COORDINATOR I-NETWORK SERVICES)

What you will do:

As a Technology Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing the technology services team and ensuring that all services are delivered effectively and efficiently. The position will require interacting with school district IT directors, technical account managers, and hardware and software vendors. In this position, you will be responsible for managing Server Support and monitoring service, VCSP and EES licensing, Offsite Backups. In addition, this role will be responsible for, budget development and staff management, helping school districts develop technology plans and infrastructure refresh cycles.
In your role, you can expect the following:
 Manage the technology services team to ensure that all services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
 Interact with school district IT directors, technical account managers, and hardware and software vendors.
 Manage Server Support and monitoring service, VCSP and EES licensing, Offsite Backups
 Help school districts develop technology plans and infrastructure refresh cycles.
 Develop and manage budgets for technology services.
 Hire, train, and manage staff to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
 Develop and implement policies and procedures for the technology services team.
 Monitor and evaluate the performance of the technology services team and make recommendations for improvement.
 Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to technology services.

What you bring to our team:

 College degree in management information systems, computer science, information resources management, information technology, or a closely related field, 2-4 years’ experience in WAN Management (High School Equivalent with 6 years of experience will be considered).
 Strong Communication and project management skills
 Familiarity with State/Government purchasing contracts.
 Ability to manage remote and in office staff.
 Any experience working in school district operations ideal but not required.
