Ongoing public health concerns related to COVID-19/Coronavirus have led to the closure of schools throughout New York state through the end of the school year. This includes our BOCES programs and schools.
When it comes to our adult education programming, we have taken a variety of approaches:
- Much like colleges and universities, our Adult Practical Nursing (full- and part-time programs) has moved to online learning during their normally scheduled class and clinical times.
- High School Equivalency (HSE) and English as a Second Language (ESL) students are learning via packets that were sent to individual students
- Adult Welding: Classes suspended indefinitely.
- Adult Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R): Classes suspended indefinitely.
We are closely monitoring the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation at the state and local level, and will update this space if this information need to change.
