Inquiry-Based Learning Basics
For inquiry-based lessons by discipline, check this Web site and
search each regional site for resources.
Housed within San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts, the Exploratorium
has a collection of 650 science, art, and human perception exhibits.
Founded in 1969 by physicist and educator Frank Oppenheimer, it
helps promote inquiry-based learning not only in the sciences but
also in the arts. A great site for examples of inquiry method in
teaching and learning. The Exploratorium's Institute of Inquiry is a
great place to start.
