Area business serves up scholarship donation for culinary students  


C.T. Male Associates cooks up a financial offering to CTE culinary students


Goodwill presents the checlC.T. Male Associates officials Raymond Liuzzo and Scott Goodwill recently presented Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical School (CTE) with a $250 donation for the school’s scholarship fund during a school business officials luncheon hosted by Capital Region BOCES.

The funds will be awarded to a culinary student or students during the annual Capital Region BOCES CTE awards ceremony in June.

The December 14 luncheon,  conducted at the Albany Career and Technical School campus, was hosted by BOCES and Gregory Diefenbach, BOCES deputy director of administrative and management services.

During the event, members of the Capital and Upstate School Business Officials organization and the New York State Association of School Business Officials heard presentations from a number of financial and human resources officials and were served a gourmet lunch prepared by CTE culinary students.
