Niskayuna graduate Surreet Pabbi credits his time in the Capital Region BOCES New Visions Law and Government program with making college planning and life "easy."

The 2017 graduate will attend Siena in the fall to pursue a degree in business administration.

For his senior year, he was part of the 10-student New Visions: Law & Government program where he learned about the executive, legislative and judicial branches of New York State government as well as about the private legal sector.

"I learned critical writing skills that have been very helpful writing essays, cover letters and resumes," Pabbi said. "Along with the writing skills, I learned speaking and presentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly, cogently and concisely."

Pabbi said those skills are crucial to his success now and in the future.

"With the skills I have acquired in New Visions, I will be able to easily transition into college and other life ventures," he said.
