Not everyone wants to go to college. In fact, most students who go to college do not finish their programs on time, or even at all.

For many high school graduates, learning skills that will translate into a good career is pivotal to a successful life. Take, for example, 2017 Carpentry Services graduate Joshua DeLarosa.

DeLarosa came to CTE because he likes to work with his hands and, in turn, learned valuable life skills.

"I have learned many skills in carpentry that will help me in the future when I get a job
working with wood," said DeLarosa in the final days of theJosh works on wood 2016-17 school year. "I loved working on my own projects and getting help from Mr. (Paul) Roberts. He was very kind and patient with me and taught me a lot. Carpentry Services teaches you many things that are helpful for your future and it is also a lot of fun."
