Building an ADK chairThe craftsmanship and hard work of Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical School (CTE) students will be on display and available for sale on May 1 and 2 during the Career Development and Occupational Studies Program (CDOS) program's Spring Mother's Day-themed Sale.

The sale will be conducted at Capital Region BOCES’s main office at 900 Watervliet-Shaker Road in Albany, in the Schenectady conference rooms and will run between the hours of 9 a.m. to
1 p.m. each day.

Items available for purchase will include gift certificates for cosmetology and automotive services, baked and prepared goods from culinary students, mother’s day floral arrangements and wreaths and much more.

The objective of the CDOS Sale is to have students practice customer service skills, self-promotion, merchandising and marketing while attempting to sell their products.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the school’s senior fund, which is used to purchase school supplies such as uniforms, mannequins and more for less fortunate CTE students.
